Financial Controller

As Financial Controller at Kroo Bank, you will oversee month-end and year-end close, financial control activities, management reporting, and the implementation of accounting and control processes for new products and material transactions, while driving automation and process improvements across Finance. You will maintain robust balance sheet controls, support technical accounting assessments, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across the bank with collaboration across Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Operations. Responsibilities include preparing management/internal reports, performing reconciliations for loans/deposits/derivatives, supporting impairment and loan-loss provisioning, aiding external/internal/regulatory audits, and driving finance transformation initiatives with a focus on automation and scalability. Prior qualification as a ACA/ACCA or equivalent and 1-2 years post-qualification experience in financial services or banking/audit is required; strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and advanced Excel are essential. This role is full-time with a hybrid working model in London, offering a dynamic environment in a growing fintech/banking group.
