Job Summary
Lead financial operations and ensure the integrity of reporting by tracking budget variances for food, labor, and overheads. Prepare month-end statements including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management. Oversee financial planning and analysis, forecasting performance while incorporating seasonal trends and market dynamics. Manage the accounts team to ensure compliance with VAT and municipal regulations, and partner with operations to drive cost optimization and margin improvement. Report directly to the Finance Director within Culinary Collective's F&B portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
- Strong background in the Food & Beverage industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the F&B sector
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or CPA preferred
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (experience with F&B-specific systems such as Micros or similar POS is an advantage)
