Job Summary
Financial Controller responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting, and performance analysis. Serves as trusted advisor to the General Manager to drive informed decision-making, operational efficiency, profitability, compliance, and process optimization in a dynamic multi-entity manufacturing environment. Leads accounting technicians, champions ERP optimization and finance transformation (SAP S/4HANA), supports audits and statutory reporting, and collaborates with consolidation, tax, treasury, and FP&A teams. Requires CPA, a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5–8 years of relevant experience, and strong US GAAP knowledge; demonstrates leadership, data integrity, and continuous improvement mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA Title
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
- Experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
- Experience in a multi-entity and international environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is an asset)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership abilities with a collaborative and hands-on approach
