Job Summary
Lead all accounting operations in a Houston-based global manufacturing environment, including AP/AR/payroll/GL, monthly/quarterly/annual close, US GAAP-consolidated financial statements, multi-currency consolidations, intercompany eliminations, revenue recognition, accruals, reserves, and balance sheet reconciliations. Drive budgeting/forecasting across units, maintain audit-ready documentation, partner with external auditors, support tax filings, and develop a high-performing accounting team while driving process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of progressive accounting experience and experience with international operations; strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Experience with international operations and intercompany accounting strongly preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
