Job Summary
Financial Controller responsible for ME entities' financial accounting, reporting, control and statutory compliance with focus on UAE. Lead accounting and reporting activities, ensure timely, accurate financial information to Group Finance and local stakeholders, manage balance sheets, reconciliations and cash flows, support audits, optimize working capital, ensure local tax and regulatory compliance, review payroll outputs, and handle ad-hoc finance-related tasks. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in accounting/finance leadership, with understanding of Middle East/UAE processes, tax accounting, and strong stakeholder management. Salary range £58,500-£78,000 (converted to USD as 74,295 - 99,060 annually for illustration) and UK remote work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 8 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, controlling, audit or finance leadership
- Understanding of the Middle East and/or UAE processes and requirements
- Experience of tax accounting and indirect tax matters
- Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
