Job Summary
Oversee financial control, compliance, and reporting for the group’s operations in South Africa, including statutory filings, month-end close, annual audits, payroll processing, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP optimization; ensure adherence to IFRS and SARS regulations while driving financial accuracy and process improvements across the business.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA or Professional Accountant
- Strong understanding of IFRS and SARS regulations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in financial management, preferably in a project-oriented environment
- Ability to lead and develop finance team
- Experience with statutory filings and audits
- Knowledge of VAT, PAYE/UIF/SDL, DWT, STT and income tax requirements
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
- Experience coordinating annual audits
- Payroll administration and reconciliation with HR systems
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
