Job Summary
Financial Controller Associate at JPMorgan Chase responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Firm’s books and records with emphasis on general ledger, GLRS controls, balance sheet and P&L controls, and month-end close coordination. Core duties include validating line of business general ledger accounts, improving efficiency in control processes, analyzing variances between general ledger and upstream systems, and collaborating with risk managers and product teams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3+ years of related experience; strong knowledge of securities/derivatives, general ledger and financial reporting, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. CPA is beneficial but not required. Must be able to work in the Columbus, OH office five days a week and be authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience
- Strong understanding of securities and derivatives products
- General Ledger, financial reporting and month end close responsibilities experience
- CPA license beneficial in some FFAR roles, but not required
- Authorized to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship provided)
