Job Summary
Financial Controller responsible for monthly consolidation of the company's income statement and balance sheet, developing and maintaining financial reports and schedules, controlling post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments, and ensuring the integrity of financial results through control procedures. Will produce monthly Variance Analysis, support ad-hoc financial information requests, collaborate with controllers across businesses and operations, perform balance sheet substantiation and GL reconciliations, provide daily balance sheet commentary, and close books at month-end while maintaining strong internal controls. Requires experience with financial consolidation systems, US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and a relevant accounting degree (MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field
- 4 years of relevant work experience in same industry or Controllership or Accounting domain
- Basic experience with a financial consolidation and reporting system (i.e. SAP interface)
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and regulations for US GAAP &/or IFRS Standards
- Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance or equivalent degree from any other university
