Job Summary
Oversee accurate month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and external audit support. Manage daily accounting operations for accounts payable, vendor payments, and customer collections while preparing financial statements through the local ERP system and loading results into Hyperion Financial Management. Analyze monthly operating results, sales, gross margins, and inventory levels to drive profitability analyses for products and services. Assist with annual budget and quarterly forecasts, partnering with manufacturing to review productivity, overhead performance, and standard cost variances. Enforce effective internal controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and performance. Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required with five to seven years of progressive experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Five to seven years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with standard costing and variance analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong listening, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
