Job Summary

Financial Controller at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu with responsibility for the finance function including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, payroll oversight, and financial reporting to Accor and ownership; collaborate with General Manager and hotel leadership; drive improvements in financial systems and controls; provide commercial insights to improve profitability while ensuring compliance with Accor policies, WH&S, and statutory requirements; requires tertiary accounting qualification and CA/CPA, 5+ years in hospitality finance; subsidised staff accommodation and meals provided in a unique lodge setting; hybrid work arrangement in Sydney (office location) with remote flexibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Hospitality Industry
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems; experience with Sunsystems, PurchasePlus and OperaCloud is highly regarded
  • Willingness to undergo a State Police Check as part of the recruitment process
