Financial Control Specialist

Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain internal controls across the region while coordinating SOX and financial control testing activities. Monitor deficiencies to drive corrective actions and ensure compliance with Group standards and SOPs. Provide financial oversight for projects including invoicing, reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and SAP FI/CO activities by acting as a liaison between Finance, IT, and operational teams. Ensure data integrity across systems and drive process improvements to resolve discrepancies. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required with 3 years of experience. Fluent in English. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- HBO or SPD qualification is an advantage
- Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and internal controls
- Practical experience with SAP FI/CO and financial data management
- Knowledge of financial system integrations, interfaces, and data flows
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with reconciliations, data validation, and control-related activities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance and IT stakeholders
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
