Financial Control Program Manager

Job Summary
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of regulatory reporting quality assurance testing aligned with the company's compliance framework. Conduct risk assessments, perform conformance and transaction testing, and evaluate data quality to ensure reporting integrity. Supervise senior and staff-level team members by reviewing work, providing guidance, and overseeing the preparation of test results and project deliverables. Analyze discrepancies, assess their impact on regulatory reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions. Partner with Accounting, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Data Management teams to address data quality issues and enhance reporting processes. Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and recommendations to management and governance committees.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in Internal Controls, Public Accounting, Internal Audit, or similar field
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Advanced knowledge of internal control analysis, risk assessment methodologies, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 302/402 and/or FRB reporting requirements, COSO framework, Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) standards, and/or generally accepted accounting principles
- Advanced level knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
- Advanced level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels within the Company
- Advanced exceptional time management; detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Occasional travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Masters or MBA in related field preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
