Financial Control and Reporting Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare accurate Clean Trial Balances for Trafigura entities, manage general ledger entries, and perform account reconciliations. Report monthly balances with variance commentary, monitor transfer pricing models, and provide highlights on tax positions. Coordinate external audits, support audit fieldwork, and assist in preparing Financial Statements. Prepare Exposure Reports for Management and evaluate accounting impacts of new contracts and business developments. Act as the primary contact with upstream teams while supporting system development and testing phases. Adapt to ad hoc tasks including document support and audit requirements. Requires 3+ years of accounting experience, IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
- Understanding of IFRS
- Proven work experience with internal / external audits
- Strong English level, oral and written, intermediate or equivalent to B2
- Excellent Spanish level, oral and written, advanced or equivalent to C2
- Meticulous and attentive to detail
- Ability to navigate and utilize multiple systems simultaneously
