Job Summary
Financial Control Analyst, Officer in the Philippines focusing on Controllership and monthly close processes. Responsible for in-country finance matters, ensuring accuracy of financial results, maintaining internal controls, coordinating with Global Close/Consolidation, supporting governance committees, and assisting the Treasurer with treasury-related tasks. Key activities include aligning with FP&A for monthly/quarterly/annual results, ensuring tax compliance and transfer pricing matters, supporting external audit and internal controls remediation, and driving transformation initiatives in accounting and reporting. Required skills include accounting expertise in banking, leadership and stakeholder management, experience with Oracle/SUN, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant
- approximately 6-8 years of relevant experience in a Finance Controller team in a Bank
- Strong Leadership capability
- stakeholders’ management skills
- Fast learner, proactive and detail-oriented
- Good knowledge of Accounting Systems (Oracle, SUN) would be an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment with multiple priorities
- Experience supporting governance committees and external audit processes
- Experience with tax compliance and Transfer Pricing
- Experience with internal controls and risk assessments
- SOX knowledge (if required) and control attestations
