Job Summary
Lead and manage the Revenue Recognition function under ASC 606/IFRS 15 within Order-to-Cash, guiding a team to accurately recognize revenue, oversee month-end close, and ensure SOX control compliance while partnering with Deal Desk, Billing, and FP&A to drive standardization and automation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing a revenue accounting/O2C team
- Strong command of ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15 with experience applying to complex contracts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA qualification(s)
- Deep understanding of order-to-cash, billing, AR, and collections
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
- Experience with revenue subledger and automation tools (e.g., Zuora RevPro, RightRev)
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and stakeholder-management abilities
- Experience with SOX controls and audit support
- Experience in a shared-services/global delivery center environment (preferred)
- Exposure to multi-element/bundled revenue and SaaS/subscription services
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- End-to-end ownership of the O2C process
- Technical accounting judgment under ASC 606/IFRS 15
