Job Summary
Conduct daily security patrols on foot or in a vehicle to protect people and property, while monitoring closed circuit television systems and alarms. Enforce site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises, acting as a visible deterrent to crime and reporting suspicious acts, safety breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing. Maintain proficiency in assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons, and build effective relationships with client employees and guests by answering phones and greeting visitors professionally. This role requires 21+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and adherence to state licensing requirements. Candidates must be able to work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions and handle stressful situations calmly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)

- Ability to read computer screens, correspondence and reports in English

- Ability to maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons
- Ability to build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests
- Ability to answer questions and assist guests and employees
- Ability to answer phones or greet guests/employees in a professional, welcoming manner
- Ability to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Armed Security Officers and specific protective device and weapons qualifications
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
