Job Summary
Manage daily activities of a financial center, including supervising, motivating, and developing assigned staff. Direct work assignments, conduct performance reviews, and handle hiring, rewarding, and disciplining employees. Lead cross-sell efforts to increase market share and oversee bi-weekly sales meetings to coach staff toward meeting sales and service goals. Ensure loan closings and product openings are completed timely while maintaining audit compliance, security, and safety standards. Train employees on credit union products, internal policies, and AFCU performance attributes to deliver exceptional member service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years related experience in financial institution branch management
- Two or more years of consumer lending experience
- Possess strong sales, interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency with at least an intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Eligible to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System
