Job Summary

Lead a banking center team by driving deposit and loan growth, managing daily operations, and executing sales for consumer and small business clients. Model compliance with federal regulations including BSA, Check 21, and HMDA while coaching associates on client experience, product knowledge, and the FFB Experience. Build strong community alliances, manage new client onboarding, and foster a team-oriented environment through regular huddles, joint sales calls, and observational coaching. Act as a liaison between the branch and district leadership to align on performance goals and retail-wide initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of experience in coaching and/or mentoring in a retail environment
  • 1-2 years of personal experience in sales and service with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in a retail environment
  • 1-2 years demonstrated prior success with achievement of performance goals
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent banking work experience
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk and drive
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures including BSA, Check 21, CIP, CRA, HMDA, Reg B, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance and the Patriot Act
  • Ability to model the way for peers and coworkers aligned with First Financials Mission and Values
  • Ability to ensure that banking center performance goals are met or exceeded
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to develop and lead a team who is knowledgeable in bank products, processes, policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage overall financial center sales and the overall performance
  • Ability to actively manage the onboarding of new clients
  • Ability to ensure client follow up calls are conducted in the proper time frame
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day activities that align with The First Financial Bank Experience
  • Ability to lead the daily huddles and team meetings
  • Ability to attract new associates who align with the First Financial Bank/FOCUS culture
  • Ability to assist District Leader and Retail Regional President with interviewing prospective candidates
  • Ability to develop associates through observational coaching, joint sales calls, and utilization of the coaching model
  • Ability to maintain all operational and risk management standards
  • Ability to act as a liaison between peers, the District Leader, and Retail Regional President
  • Ability to integrate well into the community
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships with key partners focusing on deepening client relationships, finding new opportunities, and sharing client relationships, making needed introductions/referrals
