Job Summary
Partner with business and finance teams to understand operational and financial needs and translate requirements into actionable solutions. Analyze business processes and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and cost-saving opportunities while conducting gap analyses and impact assessments. Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles. Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that turn complex data into clear recommendations for leadership. Monitor KPIs and business metrics to provide insights into performance and trends, ensuring solutions align with organizational objectives. Collaborate with IT, Accounting, Finance, and Project Management to improve processes and support initiatives that enhance business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience working collaboratively with both business and finance teams
- Working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and corporate finance principles
- Candidates MUST be local to the Houston, TX area( Near Hobby Airport) for the interview process and work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis
- Experience with business process improvement or requirements analysis
- Relevant professional certifications
