Job Summary
Financial Benefits Analyst supports all aspects of financial analysis related to clients’ benefit programs, collaborating with Account Managers and Sales Team to deliver benefit illustrations and analytics. Responsibilities include identifying risk in benefit plans via data analytics, mining and cleaning data to ensure high-quality information, creating and maintaining analytics processes, designing analytic models to map trends and streamline processes, and providing oversight and training for future data analysts. The role involves drafting exhibits for client meetings and reports using carrier methods, analyzing utilization to identify opportunities for plan design and product changes, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients. Qualifications include 2-3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, healthcare/group insurance knowledge, and data-analysis capabilities.
