Job Summary
Open deposit accounts and ancillary services while processing paying and receiving transactions. Balance transactions and cash, ensuring proper documentation and audit trails. Uncover customer expansion opportunities by cross-selling products and referring clients to appropriate associates. Perform account maintenance and adhere to internal controls for regulatory compliance. Meet service standards in person and on the phone to deliver consistent customer experiences. Requires two years of retail or banking experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish is encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of retail/sales or banking experience
- Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
- Some knowledge of retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and written communication
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Lifting in an office setting up to 30 lbs
