Job Summary
Open deposit accounts and ancillary deposit services while processing paying and receiving transactions. Balance transactions and cash, ensuring paper documentation and an adequate audit trail. Uncover customer expansion opportunities and refer clients to appropriate associates to cross-sell bank products. Perform account maintenance and adhere to internal controls for regulatory compliance. Meet service standards in person and on the phone to deliver consistent customer experiences. Requires two years of retail or banking experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. ANB Texas encourages applications from bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of retail/sales or banking experience
- Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
- Some knowledge of retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills
- Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and written communication
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Lifting in an office setting up to 30 lbs
