Financial and Regulatory Director

Responsible for the management of a team providing accounting, administration and investor servicing to investment companies and advisers. Serves as trusted advisor to clients by continually assessing changing business and strategies, as well as providing expertise, tools and information to focus on growing investments. Reviews the accounting and financial statement information provided for audit and tax reviews, the documentation and set-up of the accounting principles for unusual investment types, and processing of complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliation. Meets with prospective clients, identifies potential service requirements and provides feedback into the proposal process. Must collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective portfolio accounting within a dynamic investment management environment. Preferred CPA or CFA certification; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Advent applications; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven team-oriented leadership and organizational abilities.
