Job Summary
Monitor equity and CIP activities, resolve system and data issues timely, and understand the automated mobile employee taxation process including data flow between systems. Support annual vesting events, CIP payouts, and FICA tax obligations for standard RSU awards while assisting in compliant tax withholding, remittance, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. Communicate monthly with business units to confirm trailing taxes and analyze global filing requirements to authorize tax return preparation services. Manage compensation queries from the Client's tax vendor and respond to executive questions regarding mobility policies and withholding regulations. Partner with Executive Compensation, Treasury, Payroll, and HR departments to effect accurate transaction processing and design test scenarios to validate tax calculations using Excel.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or Data Analytics
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Ability to analyze data and provide insightful analysis that illustrates key cause and effect, business and value drivers
- Ability to utilize systems and data to investigate imbalances, identify root cause and propose resolutions
- Demonstrated abilities manipulating data with Excel, PowerBI or other tools
- Strong attention to detail is imperative
- Ability to synthesize complex topics and present them to the audience at the appropriate level
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply concepts and controls to business transactions
- Effectively expresses thoughts and ideas verbally and in written communications
- Ability to present detailed or complex information in a clear and concise manner, with a variety of audiences including management and Client business partners in a manner that is easily understood
- Ability to influence and motivate others and work collaboratively with other functional groups
- Works cooperatively in a team environment in implementing business objectives and in building commitment to achieve results
- Ability to develop and apply innovative solutions to improve processes and systems
- Ability to monitor progress and take corrective action if needed to ensure successful and timely delivery of objectives
- Ability to stay focused and flexible in fast paced work environment
- High degree of initiative demonstrated in past roles
- Demonstrated persistence in driving progress on department initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or MBA preferred
