Job Summary
Support the Director with planning, forecasting, and executive-level financial reporting for supported business units. Conduct month-end closing duties including variance analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and results reporting while tracking and investigating financial trends. Perform actual and forecast analysis for spending and headcount, assist with developing financial business cases for programs and projects, and monitor assigned KPIs. Design and monitor expense allocations across departments and colleges, and prepare industry reports as needed. This full-time role involves occasional travel up to 20% for company summits and conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel and common financial software tools
- Expertise using Excel and other financial reporting applications
- Awareness of best financial analysis practices, tools, and techniques
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills in working with senior organization leaders
- Flexibility, ability to work with ambiguity and manage change
- Intellectual curiosity
