Job Summary
Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking. Analyze production costs, inventory, and capital expenditures to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and insights. Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance. Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, capital investments, and product lines within the manufacturing process. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles (e.g., standard costing, absorption costing)
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for data extraction and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications
