Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Consolidate, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Support monthly financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and the annual budgeting process. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform process analysis. Prepare monthly statements, investigate variances, and track financial performance against forecasts. Reconcile transactions, correct discrepancies, and assist with month- and year-end accounting close. Analyze business unit performance, identify key variance drivers, and monitor financial metrics. Develop rolling forecasts (revenues, expenses, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and conduct business studies. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end closing. Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- 3+ years of experience in Finance (Financial Analysis)
- Exposure to financial analysis, operations analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls is an asset
- Big 4 Audit firm experience (PWC, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG) is an asset
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial applications
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- SAP user is preferred
