Job Summary
Financial Analyst for a regional commercial real estate firm responsible for financial modeling for real estate investments, acquisitions, developments, and dispositions; perform DCF, IRR, NPV, and ROI analyses; analyze operating statements and rent rolls; conduct market research on economic trends, property values, occupancy, and investment opportunities; assist in due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions including lease reviews; prepare investment memos and presentations; support asset management by tracking performance and optimizing strategies; monitor loan covenants and financial metrics; support budgeting and forecasting and identify cost savings and revenue opportunities; collaborate with acquisitions, development, finance, and property management teams to communicate financial insights to senior management and investors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- MBA or CFA designation is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, private equity, or asset management
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and real estate underwriting techniques
- Experience with real estate software such as ARGUS, CoStar, or Yardi is preferred
- Familiarity with financial reporting, GAAP, and real estate valuation methods
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
