Job Summary
Financial Analyst responsible for consolidating and analyzing financial data to support strategic goals and improve financial performance. Prepare and summarize data to produce sophisticated reports, influence gross margin by product line, and identify potential risks. Analyze bookings and sales data (actuals vs budget, historical trends) and coordinate annual budgeting for indirect functions (R&D, bid and proposal, sales, and general administration). Support the marketing group with cost buildups to substantiate proposal pricing and participate in month-end close and monthly management presentations. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years related finance experience (or 5 years); manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace industry and government contract cost accounting a plus. The role offers hybrid schedule flexibility and is located on the Eastside (Kirkland, WA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and two years related experience; or five years related finance experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Aerospace industry and government contract cost accounting a plus
- Hands on financial analysis experience including cost analysis, variance analysis, financial planning and cost vs actual budgeting and forecasting experience.
