Job Summary
Conduct market screening and identification of investment opportunities aligned with the firm's strategy. Perform market research, business analysis, and create initial assessment reports. Develop financial models and valuations while supporting due diligence efforts. Assist the Investment Team in drafting investment materials. Submit a brief 1-2 minute video introduction via loom.com answering questions about relevant experience and tools. Requires 2-5 years of experience in investment banking or transaction services, proficiency in Excel, and a BSc degree in Economics or Finance.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, transaction services, accounting, and financial analysis within a big firm
- Solid experience in M&A, transaction / valuation services, or investment management within a financial institution
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and generate insights to quickly get to fact-driven conclusions
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and English proficiency
- Experience working autonomously in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
- Strong critical thinking skills and business acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- BSc degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Management
- At least 50mbps internet speed
- Must have their own Permanent Work From Home Equipment like Laptop and Personal Computer with External Monitor
- Must submit a brief video introduction
- Video recording duration of at least 1-2 minutes
- Video recorded using the loom.com application
- Video using 'CAMERA ONLY' option
- Ability to answer questions about self and relevant experience in the video
- Ability to discuss tools/software proficient with in the video
Desired Qualifications
- Prior corporate finance experience, ideally in areas such as M&A, transaction/valuation services, or investment management within a financial institution
- Candidates from Corp Dev backgrounds (i.e., those engaged in M&A activities internally for a corporation)
