Job Summary
Develop, update, and maintain project management plans, tasking documentation, and cost estimates while analyzing forecasted budgets against project objectives and technical risks. Enter and maintain project planning data in Navy ERP or Warfare Center Financial Information Systems, extract financial data to monitor execution, and provide impact analysis for Program Budgets and baselines. Prepare monthly expenditure reports, funding acceptance documentation, and milestone documentation for Government review, alongside technical briefs, roadmaps, and presentation materials for Sponsor meetings. Support Code 34 Submarine Antenna Test Range operations and attend meetings to capture action items and generate minutes. Requires existing Secret security clearance and 10+ years of financial and program support experience. Full-time onsite role at NUWC in Newport, RI with a pay range of $65,000 – $75,600/year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
- At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience providing financial and program support functions such as engineering/science management, operations research analysis, or financial/cost analysis
- Proficiency with: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP)
- Proficiency with: Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
- Proficiency with: NUWC Automated Funding Document Acceptance system (AFDA)
- Strong proficiency with common productivity software including Adobe Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with contractor, government, and active-duty military personnel
- Existing SECRET Security Clearance
