Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst for Navy ERP support at NUWC Newport (Middletown, RI). Responsible for developing and maintaining project budgets and reports, analyzing funding documents, CR scenario impacts, and financial management reports for DoD/Navy programs. Performs project management support, including preparing expenditure analyses, timekeeping review, DTS/DISS entries, and updates to the RAPT/ERP datasets. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting and 7–10 years of Navy/NAVSEA/DoD financial support experience; must have strong Navy ERP and Excel skills; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related business or technical field
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent, relevant professional experience providing financial support services in U.S. Navy/NAVSEA/DoD environments
- Strong proficiency with the Navy ERP system
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and organizational skills
