Job Summary
Analyze historical accounting data to drive short- and long-range financial planning and project future trends. Coordinate corrections to account balances, maintain proper accounting controls, and assist in year-end audits to ensure data accuracy. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and long-range operational forecasts, while monitoring budgets and performing indirect cost analysis. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with two years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and data analytics proficiency using PowerBI, SQL, or modeling tools. Candidates must reside in Georgia and report to the School of Medicine, Fiscal Affairs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, finance or a related field
- Two years of financial analysis or accounting experience
- Residency in the state of GA
