Job Summary

Develop and interpret complex financial and operational information for analysis, including partnership agreements to extract distributions and calculations. Prepare and distribute internal and external reporting, covering quarterly forecasting, investor reports, and monthly variance analysis for shareholders and LPs. Conduct the internal audit program for the portfolio, prepare findings reports with improvement recommendations, and maintain debt schedules and developer notes. Submit periodic HCD and CalHFA reporting while performing annual proforma analysis for the leadership team. Provide analytical support as needed to the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • five to ten years of related work experience
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • increasingly responsible experience in budgetary analysis
  • complex accounting procedures
  • proficiency with accounting software
  • proficiency with Excel
  • proficiency with Outlook
  • understand and communicate requirements of debt and partnership agreements
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
