Job Summary
Financial Analyst responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive informed decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Key duties include monthly/quarterly forecasting, annual planning, headcount planning, and tracking spend across payroll, contractors, infrastructure, software, and non-payroll expenses. Build and present monthly variance analyses for executive stakeholders; partner with Accounting, Procurement, IT, Marketing, and other teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with company goals. Requires strong Excel (pivot tables), ERP familiarity (NetSuite or similar), experience in a SaaS environment, and the ability to communicate insights clearly with non-finance partners. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or MBA and experience with Pigment and Salesforce. Travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting
- Experience with Excel (pivot tables, basic modeling) and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a SaaS environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with non-finance partners
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to set clearly defined objectives, establish priorities, plan activities, and manage time effectively
