Financial Analyst: Regulatory Reporting & Tax Management

Job Summary
Ensure all statutory renditions for the Finance unit are rendered on time and assist with monthly tax computations, including liaising with Tax Consultants on planning and compliance matters. Prepare proof for all accounts, support the review of accounting policies under IFRS, and manage capital management planning and forecasting to optimize the bank's capital structure. Coordinate the annual rating exercise with rating agencies and assist in the Bank's external audit and regulatory review processes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting, strong reconciliation skills, and advanced Excel proficiency. Candidates must be resident in Lagos.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- 4 - 5 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis
- Proven experience preparing financial reports and management reports
- Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial variances
- Experience supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
- Candidate must be resident in Lagos
