Financial Analyst- Real Estate

Financial Analyst – Real Estate Clients located in Niagara Falls, ON. The role centers on partnering with real estate clients to build financial models, analyze portfolios, and drive real decisions through actionable insights. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, variance reports, and cash flow projections for real estate portfolios and development projects; building and maintaining financial models to assess investment performance, returns, and asset valuations; conducting budget-to-actual reviews; providing regular financial updates and ad hoc analyses to support client decision-making; assisting with accounting inquiries and ensuring compliance with reporting standards; supporting month-end/quarter-end close processes; documenting and improving financial processes and reporting systems; contributing to due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial evaluations for property acquisitions/dispositions; monitoring market trends and real estate benchmarks. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics (MBA or CPA preferred), 2–5 years of relevant experience, GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Power BI, Argus, or Yardi; strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
