Job Summary
Financial Analyst – FP&A at Port Townsend Paper Company will manage budgeting and quarterly reforecasts, perform variance analyses with driver narratives, build and maintain financial models, develop KPI dashboards and management reports, contribute to month-end/year-end close, maintain general ledger accuracy, and partner with accounting and operations to drive data-driven decision making. The role emphasizes hands-on data work, advanced Excel modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to present financial insights clearly in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookup formulas, and data analysis)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and basic financial statement analysis; strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets in a fast-paced environment
