Job Summary
Responsible for preparing financial data for journal entries and general ledgers, and overseeing all payroll procedures and processes. Perform day to day accounting functions, prepare general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation, conduct physical inventory, analyze and reconcile general ledgers, and perform other duties as assigned. Assist with freight related functions including allocation of freight expenses, invoicing chargebacks, analyzing activity and customer inquiries. Assist with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable functions. Process payrolls and prepare/reconcile payroll reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant business field required.
- Four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in QAD, Microsoft Office, FAS Asset Accounting, Hyperion and Monarch.
