Job Summary
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance, including service group and cash flow analysis for review by Senior Management and the Board of Trustees. Analyze financial data for operating budgets, revenue by payer, and expense trends to support Operational Leadership. Assist in preparing regulatory filings for the IRS, Medicare, Medicaid, and state cost reports while ensuring audit compliance through work paper preparation. Provide financial analysis to managers for monitoring expenses and capital expenditures using Decision Support System tools. Collaborate with staff to establish best practice standards for financial documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Zero to three years in general accounting experience
- knowledge and understanding of accounting practice and theory, specifically Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and prioritize work assignments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- working knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
