Job Summary

Manage the Marketing promo budget by analyzing monthly spending and ensuring optimal allocation of retail's ~$250M annual promo spend. Lead month-end financial activities, including updates to the Marketing NPV model, cost allocations, and monthly forecasts for internal ad agencies. Partner with business partners, senior leaders, and finance organizations to deliver actionable analysis for QBRs, planning discussions, and multi-year strategy. Conduct ad hoc product, customer, and segment analyses while maintaining focus on detail and supporting the financial planning and analysis functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 2 plus years of professional experience in Finance
  • Successful track record in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize key points and effectively communicate findings
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) with experience in Tableau and Anaplan
  • Self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
  • Keen ability to envision the 'big picture' while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform most analyses
  • Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches
  • Must be able to partner with FW Marketing, FBS Supervision and Operations Support, FW Central Finance, senior leaders, accounting, and other finance organizations
  • Must be able to analyze headcount / expense trends
  • Must be able to assist with the forecast and budgeting process
  • Must be able to play a lead role in month-end financial activities
  • Must be able to work closely with business partners to ensure optimal allocation of retail's ~$250M annual promo spend
  • Must be able to participate in promotion planning, analyze monthly spending, and actively manage the Marketing promo budget
  • Must be able to manage updates to the Marketing NPV model and periodic updates to model inputs
  • Must be able to determine marketing costs allocations to businesses utilizing NGAV
  • Must be able to work on annual budget, multi-year plan, monthly forecasts for PI's internal ad agency
  • Must be able to conduct domain analyses and presentations, including financial portions of QBR and planning discussions with FW SLT and other senior audiences
  • Must be able to conduct ad hoc product, customer and segment analyses and presentations as necessary
  • Must be able to support the Marketing business to deliver actionable financial analysis and decision support that impacts retail's strategy, ability to execute the multi-year plan and drive the business performance measurement for the business
  • Must be able to contribute to the financial planning and analysis functions
  • Must be able to demonstrate highly creative analytical skills while maintaining focus on details and providing timely results
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and influencing with various levels of the organization
  • Must be able to work onsite (100% onsite presence or less, as per phased rollout)
  • Must not have a criminal history that restricts Fidelity from hiring (governed by Securities Exchange Act of 1934, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, state laws, FINRA rules)
