Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct moderately complex financial, accounting, and economic analyses, including journal entry preparation, detailed calculations, and internal and external reporting. Reconcile accounts, assist in month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, and support annual audits by preparing year-end schedules and financial statements. Compile, analyze, and substantiate financial transactions while ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial operations and reporting. Provide meaningful insights to senior management on key metrics such as funds availability, resource chargeability, and cost efficiencies. Strengthen financial controls, improve reporting templates, and resolve critical operational issues to minimize risk. Communicate significant production updates and challenges to team leaders and business units promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Must meet current job expectations and consistently achieve defined performance metrics
- Demonstrated strong attendance record with no active or prior disciplinary actions
- Strong technical foundation in accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis
- Solid understanding of the overall business environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with leaders, business units, and representatives across divisions and functional departments
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Alteryx
- Experience or working knowledge of AI-enabled tools and analytics platforms
- Experience in partnering with a diverse team located in multiple locations and time zones
- Demonstrates strong flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands, and challenging work environments
