Job Summary
Supports the system's Finance strategic objectives by providing long-term financial planning, operational performance analysis, feasibility studies, and special purpose reports for senior leadership. Identifies areas for financial analysis and completes feasibility studies in collaboration with affiliates. Functions as an effective resource to advance the system's Finance strategic objectives. This role requires governance around financial data, the ability to translate complex numbers into actionable insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position emphasizes healthcare finance knowledge, financial modeling, and the ability to present findings to senior leaders. Hybrid work arrangement with regular in-office attendance to support team collaboration; commute to the Sacramento office is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of healthcare administration and reimbursement
- Working knowledge of financial modeling
- Working knowledge of computerized accounting/financial systems
- Ability to translate complex financial data into reports and presentations
- Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
