Job Summary
Execute and monitor recurring financial reports from SAP to capture real-time Actuals and Commitments. Extract, transform, and prepare financial data for reporting and analytics platforms while validating accuracy throughout the ETL process. Perform month-end reconciliations using advanced Excel techniques and analyze large financial datasets to identify discrepancies and trends. Streamline reporting workflows and collaborate with data management and master data stakeholders to ensure data integrity and resolve issues. This six-month contract in Tampa, FL, requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 3+ years of corporate finance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, accounting, or a related analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large dataset management
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts, including Actuals, Commitments, and reconciliations
- Experience working with large financial datasets while maintaining high levels of data accuracy and integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools
- Knowledge of financial data management, reporting automation, and ETL processes
