Job Summary

Partner with leaders across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Facilities, and G&A to support monthly financial reporting, close activities, and variance analysis. Manage and forecast operating expenses, track R&D project spending, and develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans. Coordinate month-end close activities including reconciliations and management reporting, while preparing clear presentations for business unit leadership. Analyze profitability, spending trends, and working capital to identify performance opportunities, and streamline financial processes through automation and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related finance role
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to organize, analyze, and summarize financial data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions and geographic locations
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to identify and improve inefficient processes
  • Less than 5% domestic/international travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with financial planning, reporting, ERP, or consolidation systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, or similar platforms
  • Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with databases, SQL, or other tools used to organize and analyze large data sets
  • Experience with Microsoft automation tools or other workflow/process automation technologies
  • Experience using AI tools appropriately to improve financial analysis, reporting, or process efficiency
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, or financial business partnering
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls or working in a regulated business environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Practical Process Improvement (PPI), is a plus
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn the business behind the numbers
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Comfort asking questions and working with business partners to understand financial results
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in making financial processes simpler and more efficient
