Job Summary
Financial Analyst III hybrid role in Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Finance and Corporate Strategy team (India) focused on complex financial analysis and forecasting. The role supports capital strategies, partners with multiple finance functions, and drives adherence to GAAP while managing forecasts, journal entries, end-of-term management, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. Responsibilities include in-depth financial analyses for multinational/global deals, central invoicing, revenue planning, and initiative support across finance and business operations, with emphasis on ownership of deliverables, proactive risk identification, and process improvements. The position requires strong Excel skills, accounting knowledge, and ability to collaborate across geographies, with a typical 4+ years of experience and a first-level university degree (MBA/CPA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
- Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst
- Experience in S4; Compass experience a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and strong business application proficiency
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of accounting/financial processes and principles
- Proven experience performing and improving balance-sheet/P&L reconciliations
- Results-driven with strong ownership of deliverables, deadlines, and project execution
- Proactive self-starter who identifies risks, proposes solutions, and drives process improvements
- Clear communicator and effective collaborator with cross-functional teams
- Good business acumen and commitment to ongoing development
