Job Summary
Financial Analyst II in Bangalore within the RDS Finance team focused on FP&A, planning, and reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining finance data models, supporting monthly/quarterly projections, performing variance analysis, partnering with Product/Sales/Operations/Finance stakeholders, coordinating Annual Planning, translating data into actionable recommendations, building dashboards and automated reports, improving data quality and governance, and contributing to IFRS 15 revenue analysis and related controls. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of FP&A/finance analytics experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proficiency in SQL and Python (with exposure to PySpark). Palantir/Stargate experience is a plus. The team, based in Bangalore, emphasizes data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence. Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, controlling, analytics, or related roles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and executive-level presentations
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark or similar analytical tools, with the ability to work with large datasets and build scalable analytical solutions
