Job Summary
Support the Practice Plan Administrator in developing, administering, and monitoring annual practice plan budgets across Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and affiliated organizations. Assist with year-end financial reconciliation, monthly invoicing, and reimbursement processes for clinical services and provider support. Monitor financial performance, identify budget variances, and conduct forecasting and modeling to inform strategic decision-making. Create performance dashboards and analytics for physician incentive plans, while collaborating on provider onboarding, offboarding, and workforce transitions. Lead initiatives strengthening Fred Hutch and University of Washington affiliations to advance clinical enterprise sustainability. Perform detailed financial reviews, trend analyses, and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a related field OR equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or finance
- preferable in a research or not-for-profit environment
- Working knowledge of financial information and related operational statistics
- This is hybrid position with two day requirement on campus

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to understand complex problems, to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
- Ability to organize data and finances into understandable terminology for stakeholders
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects and proactively communicate status of projects to key decision makers
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with financial accounting, budgeting and reconciliation
