Job Summary
The Financial Analyst II conducts financial research, analyses, and cost-benefit assessments to support strategic decisions. Responsibilities include in-depth financial research, preparing variance reports and long-term forecasts, developing annual budgets for assigned customers, identifying variances, reconciling commitments with procurement/subcontracts, designing dashboards to monitor program budgets, generating reports for leadership, coordinating with Accounting to produce customer invoices, supporting collections, participating in cost proposal development, and traveling occasionally as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 4 years of financial analysis experience, proficiency with financial software and Excel, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and is full-time with compensation in the listed salary range.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive, job-related financial analysis experience
- Proficiency in integrated financial software, advanced Excel, and standard word processing applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a sharp focus on detail-oriented work
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by project needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required)
