Job Summary
Partner with Sales leadership to drive financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision making while owning ACV bookings, operating expenses, and headcount planning. Develop headcount plans aligned with sales targets, manage discretionary spend, and track bookings against pipeline trends to support business performance. Support the month end close process by analyzing actuals, investigating variances, and delivering monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Build and enhance financial models for strategic planning and scenario analysis, identify process improvements through automation, and develop key operational metrics for executive requests. This role sits within the FP&A team at Braze, the leading customer engagement platform, and requires 3+ years of finance experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Finance or FP&A experience
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative business partner with strong cross-functional relationship-building skills
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and deliver actionable business insights
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
